I have a big red X across the MP gauge on my Dynon HDx display?
I was able to power up the sensor itself using another set of electronics not related to the Dynon system, it seems to look OK.
I have turned my attention to the wire harness going to the MP sensor
There are three wires feeding into the sensor
The +5V line looks good and the ground wire looks good. I am hesitant to buzz out the sensor wire back to the EMS unit as it will require removing a bit of items to get access to the DB37 connector into the EMS unit
Two questions
1) Can i feed +5 V straight into the sensor wire at the sensor end and look on the Dynon sensor diagnostic screen for the input.....will this fry anything
2) Any other configuration or menu selections I may be overlooking?... I think I configured the sensor setup OK as all my other sensors are working....
(I tried to call Dynon today .... as usual, no one available on Tech Support line and several hour later no one has called back....argh....)
