Sun 'n Fun show case fly-by by Spruce Creek Gaggle Flight
Yesterday (Wednesday) the Spruce Creek Gaggle Flight was invited to make two formation passes at Sun 'n Fun between 11:30 and noon. Many RVs were in the formation. Here are two videos, one from the ground and another one from a tailcam on my RV9A (#11 of 12 plane formation).
I really like what the tail cam offers. The field of view is very good and it gives you a good reference line to the aircraft that helps orient you. Great shots. I am surprised at how steady the camera is in the windstream back there. I would have thought the prop wash would buffet it more.
Ted, what a great group shot. Almost the history of small planes (OK, well a small sample) all together in one overhead shot. Very nice... tell the 140 owner the narrator was being insensitive...
