I'm just finishing up all the steps required before I prime my parts. On page 09-09, Step 6 it says:
"Break the trailing edges of the E-913 Counterbalance Skins
and the E-00900A, E-00900B, E-00901A and E-00901B Skins
slightly towards the interior of the elevator."
I'm a little confused about the skins portion. Exactly which edge are they talking about on the skins? I have several choices: forward, aft, inboard and outboard edge. What do they mean by break it towards the interior?
Can someone decode this for me?
I've been away from building for a while now so I've forgotten some things. Is it OK to do the break after prime? I'm using Akzo epoxy primer so that stuff is tough. I always dimple after prime so I think I'm safe doing the break after prime too.
Edit: I just realized the title of this thread was inaccurate. I meant the elevator skins and not the counterbalance skins. It's clear where to break the counterbalance skins.
