Hartzell HC-C2YK-1BF, blade model F7666A

I know this model has the 100 hrs inspections but I don’t know much about it. The prop was last OH in ‘03 and supposedly has 0 time since the OH. So most likely the seals need to be replaced/OH. How much does it cost to replace the seals / OH? Also what do the inspections cost? Is there anything else I need to know about this model?

FYI. I believe it’s a ‘K’ in the model number.

You may be aware of this, but if the Hub Serial Number ends in a "B", no recurring 100 hr inspection is required.

My previous RV-8 had a Hartzell Model HC-C2YK-1BF, Blade P/N F7666A-2 (74" dia.) and had a Hub Serial Number CH33XXXB. Since the Hub Serial Number ends in a "B", no 100 hour inspection is required.

When the prop is resealed, they will probably (and should) use the latest Hartzell recommended grease - NYCO GN3058 grease

Unfortunately, my hub serial number does not end with a B.
