What did you do with your RV this Weekend (2/20/21 - 2/21/21)

I did 2 takeoffs and landings.

Starting back on IR. Went ALL THE WAY from T67 to KFWS. Shot the RNAV 17R at Spinks and came home.

Now I'm looking to fix a small issue. The 4 on my transponder is in-op. All the local codes here start with 4 (wouldn't you know) so departure was nice enough to put me on, and clear me into the Bravo with 1200.

I finally have something nice to say about ADS-B Out.

Formation group lunch flyout. It was a little chilly, only got up to the low 70's, so had to wear long pants!

Flew up and down our frozen rivers checking out the barge traffic making their way through the icy waters. This is the Illinois River right at its confluence with the mighty Mississippi

I had the chance to chase a plane with a pro professional photographer on board.
Was a delight to work with him.
Refreshing my formation skills to join the guys from previous post on 8th of May in Uelzen (EDVU).
There are rumors that the photographer might attend as well.

Well not quite the weekend but I did my flight review this morning.

Shoveled the two foot snow drift out of the way of my hangar and went to start up and my starter spun up but would not engage.

I was more angry that I spent almost an hour getting the snow out of the way to fly. Will have to look into the issue this week.
