Trigg TY 91 Problem
A friend has a Trigg TY-91 that has developed the following problem:
No transmit audio. - Various microphones have been checked.
Carrier is transmit ok.
Intercom audio is a-ok.
Worked ok 2 nights ago.
Any thoughts?

I suggest you ring out the mic audio line from the intercom to the radio.

Hi Walt:
Not sure what you mean . . . . the intercom is built into the radio, there is not a stand-alone intercom unit.

Ok sorry, I usually "assume" audio panel or seperate intercom.
If the intercom audio works fine and it's transmitting a carrier then it sounds like the radio needs to be bench checked to verify that it is inop before sending it off for repair.
PS: "ring out" means to check for continuity
