Default Ride in RV-10

We're building an RV 10 but have never ridden in one. Is there a way to get a ride in one at Oshkosh to actually get a feel for what we are working toward?
Thank you,
Mark

If you care to post your location you might get an offer of a free ride. RV builders love to show off their planes.
As to your question: in past OSH get togethers Vans has offered rides. But usually you needed to get a reservation pretty early.

We're in Central Iowa, 40 miles east of Des Moines.

Go over to RV Days at BNW tomorrow, there will likely be several RV-10s. Iím sure somebody would give you a ride. http://www.wcaircraft.com/boonervday.html

I am in Chicago and would give you a ride, if you get out this way. I fly to Ames all the time, but not during the summer.

I have family in Iowa City. No trips planned out that way between now and OSH, but I'll most likely be out that way before the summer is over if you can wait that long.

Thanks Rich, my mother in law lives near Iowa City so that would work good. Let me know if you get that way and we'll see if we can make it happen.
