A good primer (though not a substitute) for instruction is to read all that you can. There are plenty of good books on the science of aerobatic flight, and having comprehension of the subject will help your instruction greatly. That's why you have ground school before instruction for basic pilot training. Any monkey can be taught to manipulate the controls, but you really should know what's happening and why. That's where books come in.
