Can the GRT EIS 4000 send engine data to a Garmin EFIS? G3X for example...

Default Display GRT EIS data on G3X

Sean and others,

Has anybody managed to add the G3X system, keep the GRT EIS and sensors, and display the EIS info on the G3X?

Good Afternoon,

We do not have the ability to accept and display engine instrument information from another EFIS in this manner. If you were to include a GEA 24 EIS interface in your system, you could reuse most, if not all of your existing engine sensors. Chapter 24 of the G3X Touch Installation Manual provides detailed information relating to the sensors our system is compatible with. You can cross reference the sensors you already have installed with our manual to see what you would be able to retain from your existing installation before ever making a decision.

Thanks,

Justin
