I'm installing the Advanced Flight AOA ports in my RV8 wing. The installation manual lists the chord wise location as: "6" forward of the wing skin break at the spar about 12" aft of the leading edge". These measurements conflict slightly. If I measure 12" from the leading edge along the chord line, I get a measurement of 6-3/8" from the wing skin break on the top and 6-1/2" on the bottom.
So, can someone clear this up for me. Should I just measure 6" from the skin break on both the top and bottom or use 12" from the leading edge on the chord line? Or does it matter?
Thanks,
Chris
