Explain what you mean "Wheel Bearings went Bad"
How did you diagnose problem?
Very unusual for taper roller bearings to have problem...

I see many folks over tighten taper bearing pre-load, this will cause premature failure.
General rule 'hand tight' is pretty close to the correct pre-load for taper bearings.
(then loosen enough to get the cotter key in)

Went bad means seal came out and little balls came out. I can hear grinding noise while taxing.
FYI Bearing # 1628RS

I guess that's possible on front wheel which has ball bearings.
Main wheels have tapper roller bearings and nothing can fall out if seal fails. Taper rollers are virtually indestructible.

Read the Matco instructions. These bearings are installed different from traditional roller bearings. Your doing something incorrectly.

My bearings are 10 years in service averaging a little over 100 hours per year with no problems. They seem pretty durable and trouble free.

Over 1,000 hours / 7+ years and all my wheel bearings look and run like new. The Matco main and nose wheel bearings require different maintenance techniques. Best to follow Matco recommendations.
