Default O-320 W&B

Hi All
Has anyone used the WD-757 engine mount (2” longer) with an O-320 on their 7?
Interested in where the W&B ended up, especially with a lightweight fixed pitch prop??

Cheers

Probably a good idea to get the weight of the smaller engine further forward and maybe use a heavy old fashioned starter or a weighted prop spacer.

My RV7 (taildragger) has a parallel valve 180HP IO-360 with a heavy all aluminum Hartzell 74" constant speed prop. Much heavier than your set up. We still have to watch how much baggage we carry. 100 pounds of baggage is OK until you burn off 25 or 30 gallons of fuel: then the plane becomes twitchy in pitch during the landing flair, as a result of the CG moving aft as the fuel is burned off.
