Default Canopy frame mis-align

Hi Vans Fans,

I am trying to fit the canopy frame to a regular QB fuse.

It all looks mostly good. Slides well, seems straight, is laterally symmetrical. Right up until it gets to the windscreen bow. At that point the left forward side is about 1/4” closer to the bow. Left edge sits about 1/2” away, while the right corner is 3/4”. I haven’t tried to shape the handle latch yet. The pin at the rear is nicely engaged.

Is 1/4 inch a deal breaker? Can it be improved? I’ve tried manipulating the frame, but there doesn’t seem to be much change (and I don’t want to wreck it!).

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Cheers
