Pull rivet broke high

The stem of this pull rivet broke off high, and my pullers won't grip it. I used good technique and the rivet itself is well set. But what do I do about this stem? Leave it as is (the rolled leading edge will hide it)? Leave it in but shave it down to even with the head? Drill it out? Thanks!

Suggest to try again with the rivet puller? You tried it maybe?
If too short for the rivet puller, I would cut it as close to head and shave/file it flush...

Grab it with some pliers and flex the stem near the head of the rivet until it breaks off. File the remaining sharp point smooth.
