Skybolt side cowl fasteners

Just received my Skybolt cowl side fastener kit for my 9. The kit includes 20 Skybolt fasteners but aslo has 10 MS #10 floating plate nuts. Where are the plate nuts used? Maybe up front in the tight curved space? Skybolt lady on the phone is unsure and the instruction do not address them.

Those are available for screws to hold the top and bottom cowl halves together at the up-front flanges on each side of the spinner. I initially installed 3 platenuts on each side of the spinner, but I ended up removing the rear-most platenut and going with the front two. Reason: It's really tough to get a screwdriver on the rear-most screw, and the front two do the job.
