Default W-00059 phone phone cable length

On step 1 on page 10-26 it has you install the ELT cable along the F-01429-L and Bellcrank Ribs. The phone cable seems way too short, the parts list shows W-00059 (phone cable) as being 225”. I did not think to measure this prior.... anyone else notice this?

Admittedly, I have not measured the cable length, but there is no reason to believe it is too short. This is my excess cable coiled up after running the rest of it to the rear deck. Seems like it should be the proper length.

Default Phone cable

Stuff is pretty cheap. Home Depot. Buy it with ends unless you have a crimper. There is a difference in connectors. Solid and stranded conductors and they are not interchangeable. Use the wrong ones and it will work for a while then fail.

It depends on where you mount your ELT panel. My phone cable was about 3 too short to reach my chosen location which is top left of the instrument panel. Bought a 6 extension from Amazon.
