Default FYI Ordering from Crow/UPS charges

Just heads up if ordering seatbelts from Crow...
I ordered a set of belts for my -6 and despite specifically requesting NOT to use UPS due to brokerage charges they did ship UPS.
My $240.00 order has $120.00 owing to UPS .

Been through this with UPS as well, sorry to hear. Note that UPS has several different "levels" of "service". If it is sent Standard, they charge an arm and a leg for customs clearance and brokerage. Look on their website, higher levels of service, for not much more $$ include that in the price.

I made the mistake of using UPS once. Learned very quickly not to ship with them again. Expensive lesson. FedEx is slightly better. If you can afford the wait, USPS/Canada Post is the least expensive, but the longest shipping time.
