Dimension for brass bushing in control stick?

Hey All,

How much shorter did you guysl file the tube in the base of the WD-612 control stick weldment than the brass bushing that rides in it?

Right now I've got the bushing at a perfect slip fit into the clevis at 2.24" I've dressed the ends of the weldment to 2.23" Seems to fit together really well and I obviously don't want a lot of slop in this, but .01" isn't much free play. Should I go more or is this about right?

I did not measure mine, but they were no more than that. As long as there is no discernable slop and LPS2 is applied for lubricant, you should be good to go.

I didn't measure mine either except to try and get full range of motion. In the end it has a few thousandths of slop at one point then tightens up as the stick moves around. The weldment wasn't perfectly square.

Thanks guys- Went with the .010 and it seems about right. Trial fit of everything seems like it's good to go.
