Default Somewhere over MN

Somewhere over Minnesota after a great week at KOSH. I am in severe need of being re-domesticated.

Default Baddeck, Nova Scotia

I took my family for a two week east coast vacation/tour and visited some of my old stomping grounds.

Figured I would add a couple of "hat sightings" from the east coast of Canada.

The first one is pretty self-explanatory...Baddeck, Nova Scotia, birth place of aviation in Canada. We actually stayed at the Silver Dart Inn.

The second one is about 7 miles of the coast of Cape Breton on the Atlantic Ocean in a fishing boat hunting whales and dolphins. Successful trip. We saw four bald eagles, one seal, numerous white-sided atlantic dolphins, and puffin, and a fin-back whale, the 2nd largest mammal.

The kiddies were more than happy to pine for the camera! The older one Lauren is my trusty riveter!

Vacation over, back to work and back to the build!

Default VAF Skunkworks sighting????

The prototype of the new wide brim VAF hat????

Often requested, never before delivered.

Could this be the start of something new???

Note palm tree in the background, maybe somewhere in the tropics???

OK just to set the record straight I was wandering around New Mexico after leaving Venice, Florida not CA.

Thanks for breakfast Jon. Had a great time but I did get a ding in my HS from a stone at Estancia's gravel runway. I was very careful to apply power slowly so that wouldn't happen but I'm guessing my left tire kicked one up anyway.

Trip write-up coming after I finally get home. I'm weathered in just North of the Florida/Georgia border.

ps. Saw your "New Mexico Sights" video. It is awesome. I really enjoyed some of the scenery while I was out there. Thanks. I didn't shoot any video.
