sitting in the back of a two seater for ballast. the pilot was prepping for a faa check ride to maintain his cfi-g. the guy was in his eighties and flew like a champ except he forgot to retract the gear. nutmegsoaring:):)

I think that is the only time I have heard of a glider with a TURBO in it.

I must say it was great being back in a glider again. If you get a chance to fly in one do it. It is a great feeling searching for lift to stay aloft. If you thought you could fly without rudder input then you will be quite surprised. It will not work. :)
