quality fuel fittings
 

so i spend so much time online comparing.........every time i work on fuel,oil systems.
does anyone really know if the brass hose fittings on ,zoro for example , are satisfactory safetywise as a fitting costing 3 times as much at another site.

As tempting as it is to use non-aircraft parts on our aircraft, I make every attempt to use aviation grade hardware, fittings, hoses etc: whenever possible. One thing that sets the RV's apart from most EAB aircraft is that the materials, fabrication methods and standards are up to par with most certified aircraft.

This stuff is too important to go with unknown quality to save a few dollars IMHO.
