Wing tip lights?

Hi folks, a question for the builders that are already flying. Is the wing tip lighting adequate for night operations? I am considering adding the leading edge HID lights as well, but would rather save the money if the others produce enough light. After looking at their size I am skeptical. Also, I have had deer on the runway more than once...and am thinking the HIDs would allow more time to pull power and stop. Actual observations would be appreciated....

Well let me just say...

that after my first night landings I ordered the HID and ripped out the wing tip lights.
