Another list had a question on which fonts meet the exact dimensions of the FARs....
One font that does is usually called "Military Block letter" and is actually an old Air Force font called USAF Amarillo

Download the font, and your favorite graphics maker can make vinyl graphics or a paint mask from it.
This is what the font looks like on my newly painted Tiger... The blue interior of the letters are exactly to the specifications....
I know lots of planes violate this portion of the FARs (which are actually very specific on letter width and stroke width)..... but this font actually meets the letter of the law...
