One of our EAA members is involved with another chapter based out of NY1 and is looking for Young Eagles Pilots. More info:


"I am writing to follow up on the recent newsletter article regarding the need for Young Eagles pilots for a special EAA 602 / 146 joint operation at Kline Kill (NY1) on Sat, May 19th at 10am. We will be flying kids from the STRIDE group, disabled kids who will never forget the wonderful gift of flight we'll be giving them. We are short on pilots and need your help. Hmmm. I might have to try this. Tell me more about what's involved, never participated in young eagles before. What kind of liability am I subjected to?

EAA has insurance covereage in place for members providing young eagles flights.
