Dynon Autotrim

Having just done the flight tests on the autopilot of an RV12, I was impressed with it's performance, however, it still needed a lot of trimming in pitch.

That was a D180 set up.

On our 8, we are fitting the Skyview with autopilot in roll and pitch.

Can I link the pitch trim to the RAC electric trim ?

I don't think so

No.

But what we did was install a two speed trim controller.

Safety Trim......TCW

A VAF member too

Uses an airswitch and when at speed you can have a slow trim speed for finer adjustment.
