I'm installing a GRT system now. I've mounted the pitch servo over the rails in the center of the fuse just aft of the baggage compartment. It's about where most would put a battery tray for the rear battery. I decided not to use the standard mounting hardware the GRT supplied because I would have had to replace the elevator bell crank mounts. I made a plate and riveted it to the stringers in the bottom, but first I put platenuts in to screw a 1x1 angle that holds the servo. I put a reinforcement across the forward end to stop flexing fore and aft and an L bracket to tie it all together. Very light and very strong.
The roll servo was a bolt in for me since I was replacing a TrueTrak servo that was with my old Digiflight single axis autopilot.
