I was having trouble getting my blue eyeball pass-thrus snugged down, so i made a tool. Take 1 $5.99 clearance 12pt socket at True Value size 1-1/4". Cut a slot in the side with the canopy cutting wheel on your grinder. Lightly sand the points in the socket until the eyball ring is a good fit.
Slot allows it to go over the cable in place. You can get a channel lock on the barrel if you really need to.
