Ted Strong - Strong Enterprises (Para-Cushion Reserves)

For those of you who relay on a emergency reserve parachute you can probably thank Ted Strong for being one of they guys that helped raise the bar. You may have met him at SnF or Airventure and I am sure that you came away with any conversation with him with a smile on your face.

This has shaken the parachute industry pretty hard. Ted was one of the good guys, I did not always agree with some of his business decisions but he loved the industry. I am happy to have been one of his friends and I know this is the way he would have wanted it to be.

Ted experienced a problem during a ATV training operation for the Military in Texas and rode the vehicle in. The other three souls in the vehicle were able to exit and safely landed under their personnel canopies.

was in the strong enterprises factory watching my custom RV4 right be packed when they got the word that ted had made his first jump successfully, I suppose this happened on the subsequent jump or one later that day. This is really sad
