Piano hinge wingtip fix?

I'm wrapping up the install of the wingtips using the piano hinge technique, but there are a few areas where I got overly aggressive in sanding up to the joggle. With the tips on there are spots where you can see the hinge through the gap.

I've got a few ideas on how to build it back up for a clean line, but I'm soliciting mentor ship from the fiberglass pros here. Ideas? We're talking no more than .05-.1" in the worst places.

Easy to fix. Sort of like mudding a joint in drywall.

Roughen up the last 1" or so of the fiberglass next to the joggle with 80 grit. Mask the wing skins. Mix up 50/50 mix of flox and micro. Take a putty knife and squeegee the epoxy mix right into the gap. Wait a couple of hours for the epoxy to set up soft, and score along the edge with a razor blade. The next day, remove the tip and sand.

Brilliant! Thanks RB!

Do you need to sorry about the material getting down into the hinge eyes and potentially gumming them up, with the tips attached?
