Corpus Christi

I did a search on Corpus Christi and it did not turn up to much. Mustang Island was mentioned as a good spot to go into. Is this the preferred airport to find a place close to the beach. We plan to be there in April after Grady finishes the paint and wonder if the beach weather is in full swing by then. The whole family will be going so activities for the kids are good. Playing on the beach and staying away form the sharks is what we had in mind The plan is to tour the Southern States west bound from there before heading north for home. Any ideas in the general area would help the planning. BTW did the oil effect the water that far west?

Lexington

Personally, I think the USS Lexington is an absolute must. Budget lots of time for wandering around and trying to figure out how things work on a carrier.

Actually "Spring Break" occurs in March, not April, and most of the college kids head to South Padre because it is a lot warmer than Corpus Christi.
