Building in Spain

I'm planning to build an RV. For those building in Spain who have already purchased the kits, what is the expected cost of freight and custom taxes?

I am about on my planning phase, looking at everything...
I spoke with a couple of builders here in Spain and they have averaged around 30%-35% on top of the cost. So that would be including, shipping, import tax, customs and all that.

30-35%?! Wow! that is too much!
I was thinking about the RV-9A with a Lycoming 160 HP, but now I don't know.

Yes that is about the %, you can save some money if you buy all the kits at once, but you will have to have all the money.

I am looking at the 7, and it will be around 6000 usd more and that is only for the kit, then you have to ad about the same for the engine, and depending where you buy the avionics and how fancy you get you'll have to add some on that too.
