Stand Ups for the Troops is a comedy group which puts on comedy shows to benefit Lawyers for Warriors, a non profit network of volunteer lawyers who provide pro bono legal services for troops deployed to hostile fire zones. They do free shows at veterans hospitals along the way.

One of the comedians needs a ride from Jackson, TN to Eau Claire, WI on July 21. She also needs to go from Bloomington/St. Paul, MN to Wilmington, OH on Aug 1. These are transits between charity performances.

Although not totally blind, this comedian is too visually impaired to drive. This comedy group will perform benefit shows in several states beginning in ST Pete Beach FL on July 13. Transportation has been arranged for the other shows. They will be doing a video blog of the tour, which would bring good media exposure to the experimental community and VAF.

Additional information can be found at www.lawyersforwarriors.org click on the "events" tab.

I thought the last thing we wanted was some joker in a light aircraft. :)

Wish I could help, but am unfortunately too far away to contribute.

Rob,

Thanks for the thought. We will let you know if we need comedians transported in the Pacific northwest :)

The comedy team is planning a tour next year that will set a world record by doing 150 charity shows in 150 consecutive days in 150 cities.
