I hope to fly a Bahamas trip in the near future, and this looks to be a great opportunity to get any and all questions answered. If anyone in the Tampa area wants to go, please let me know and we can fly loose formation on the way down.

This event is for private pilots who desire to fly to the Bahamas in their own aircraft and for people who desire to take a charter flight to the Bahamas.
Banyan's hangar will be transformed into the look and feel of the Bahamas with exhibitors from the islands sharing information about their resorts, hotels, and activities.

Learn about Island adventures and activities
Ask The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Customs officials any questions about flying to the Bahamas.
Group fly-in representatives will provide information on their services, and their upcoming schedule of trips.
For the non-pilots in attendance, charter operators will be exhibiting and will share information on flights to the Bahamas
Bahamian Food & Junkano
Bahamian food will be available for purchase and a junkano band will provide entertainment.
Mini-seminars
Mini-seminars on eAPIS and Flying to the Bahamas will be held in the Sable Palm Conference Room above Hangar63 (Banyan's Aviation Store). Please Register and select the seminar you would like to attend. Seminars are limited to 30 participants, therefore, please stop by our registration desk to confirm your seat.
eAPIS - 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm - this seminar will help pilots understand eAPIS requirements and how to file on-line.
Flying to the Bahamas - 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm - this seminar provides information on Gateway FBOs, required documentation and various island accommodations and activities.
Prepare Your Aircraft for Overwater Flight - 4:00 pm - Corbin Hallaran of Premier Aircraft Sales will discuss steps you should take to ready your plane and yourself for overwater flight to the Bahamas.
Survival Equipment Demonstration
Life Raft & Survival demo 12:30 by Survival Products, Inc.
Door Prizes
Be sure to stop by the registration table to enter to win some great prizes.
