I am looking for someone in the NYC / Nassau area who is interested in building an RV (preferable an RV8, tail dragger) and that would want to base the aircraft out of Farmingdale (KFRG). I have not started this project as of yet, but I have been doing some research for the past couple of years. I am a 33 year old Navy veteran and am currently a student at Farmingdale State College in their Aeronautical Science Pro-Pilot program working towards my instrument at this time with 85 hours. I took my first flight lesson in January of 2007. I work during the summer as a tandem skydiving instructor at Skydive Long Island in Calverton.
