Randy and Tony make RV-3B News

Way to go guys! The June issue of "Sport Aviation" is out and Randy Lervold's RV-3B graces the cover. Tony Spicer's mount is featured in the accompanying article by Kent Misegades. It's about time the little guy got some well-deserved press!

Yup,

Good to see those guys get some "write-up".

I was there when Randy was being interviewed for some of this and when he was heading out to do the photo shoot. So I was anticipating such.

The Tony part was a very pleasant surprise.

Way to go Randy and Tony!!

p.s. For all you RV3B wannabees, this is a "must see" issue.

Tony is no stranger to the press - He's a Sonex legend! Had the pleasure of flying with Tony a few years back. Was looking back through old issues of SA and couldn't find hardly anything except very early articles on the 3. This has been a long time coming and I can't wait to see it! Way to go!

I'll be looking forward to getting my copy.

Randy needs a pat on the back for documenting the -3 as much as he has. Back in the day when the -3 was the only RV being built alot of info would have been lost had Randy not built his website.

Congratulations Randy; the front cover of Sport Aviation is not an easy place to land <g>
