APRS DX

APRS geeks may enjoy this screen grab showing one of the beacons from N399SB on the breakfast run to Winchester, TN hitting a digi 296 miles away near Tallahassee, FL. Notice the altitude of the tracker was only 2000' agl. The remainder of the beacons were captured by local digis but somehow this particular beacon found its way to the Sunshine State:



Don't know what this info is worth, just found it interesting.

I used to get 2 meter paths from Escondido Ca. to Hawaii at times. Also to San Francisco If the Weather conditions were just right.
