Tilted instrument panel

Is there any reason why a panel couldn't be slightly angled say, 5 deg?

I have:
- no gyro instruments
- an electric turn and bank
- a whiskey compass that may get changed to a vertical card compass
- a skidball

I have a feeling it's a non starter, but 5 deg could be insignificant so I thought I'd ask..

This is not for an RV, but I like reading all the metal and firewall forward subjects on here, since they are often relevant to any plane...

My RV6A has an 8 degree panel tilt as standard. You can even find instruments with an 8 degree tilt......readily available.

No reason at all.

As a matter of fact, the RV panel is tilted 8*. Actually, your electric turn and bank will be off slightly, but not enough that you would ever notice.

I dont wish to purchase instruments since I have them all, and theyre custom painted.

So Mel, I am good to go at 5 degrees?
