2-1/4" Altimeter

I"m trying to get my panel ready to go to the laser and can't find the actual dimensions for the Altimeter. UMA's web site shows the three hole pattern but doesn't really spell out the cutout required for the pressure knob. I'm just wondering if anyone has it laying around and would share.

single pointer or dual?

Hello Paul,

I've been waiting for UMA to announce the 'imminent' arrival of the dual pointer 2 1/4 altimeter. I understand that they've completed the tooling and are now testing, although I'm not too sure how reliable this info is.

If it's just a standard 2 1/4 hole that's required then it's easy but I would advise a quick call to UMA and speak with, Sharon (I think).

Since the advent of 'glass' in the cockpit, there seems to be a real market for the smaller instruments. In the UK we MUST have standby 'steam' alt, asi, compass if we go glass.
