9a with fixed pitch prop

Does anyone have a 9 with a Subaru H6 and fixed pitch Warp prop flying. I know Egg wants the constant speed, and I would love to have it, but if the performance figures are close, there is a lot of money difference. Does anyone have performance figures and can one later upgrade to the constant speed without mods?
