Encoder mounting

Hello,

Where are you -9A builders mounting your blind encoders?

I have the small Trans-Cal unit and mounted it to the sub panel behind the instrument panel. Just to the left of the radio stack.

You can see it in this picture just below the light dimmer.

Granted, I have a tip-up, but I chose to mount my encoder in that spot so that when I needed to get at it every 24 calendar months it would be no sweat. It's simply a matter of tipping up the canopy and I have wide-open access to it.

At least give yourself a service loop on both the static & electrical connections.
