RV ACRO Contest Next Week in Giddings TX

RV One Design Contest next Saturday, 17 May, at Giddings Texas! Show up early. Chutes and safety pilots available.

Be brave; load up some testosterone; let's show the IAC that the RV community has aircraft and the skils to compete! It's going to be fun! Even if you are not going to fly, come on out to be entertained.

Take to contest (if you plan to fly your aircraft):

Proof of sufficient liability insurance (1 MIL), Copies are fine.

Pilots license

Current Pilot Medical

Airworthiness Certificate

Registration Certificate

Operating limitations for experimental aircraft

Weight and Balance documents for your particular aircraft. Generic weight and balance documents are not sufficient.

Aircraft logbook, or copy, showing the aircraft is in annual. Copies are fine.

I'll be going. Even though I won't compete (at least not this time), I think that we RVators should show our support to this IAC chapter for trying to involve us.

This is awesome. Several years ago when was prez of our local IAC chapter, several members thought that RVs had no place in IAC competitions. Sad but true.

I'm curious, what sequence will the RVs be flying?
