Check out the finished RV-8 Pictures on this forum (red and white checkered tail) I took the plane to them in Dupont "Vari-Prime" and the Leading/trailing
edges cut in in white so the controls did not have to be removed.
They paint the whole plane white single stage and then add the colors after sanding the areas. They will do base coat clear coat if you like, my color / stripes are base coat clear coat. They will do it all or let you remove the controls....I went by every other day and he did not mind.....
Fair price and good layout per my line drawings.
