Small Trim under emp fairing & hs

Does anyone have some tips or good pictures of installing that little trim part
I have the place for the holes marked (right on top of side skin rivets
so I need to tap the holes 6/32 but did you use the rubber ? and did you have
to adjust the part on the front for the leading edge of the hs ?

installing emp fairing , landing gear next.. tip-up slider works great so far..
I hate fiberglass..

I did need to bend the part in. I considered using the rubber, but after carefully trimming the aluminum I decided to just use the recommended 1/32" gap and call it a day. I think it looks better that way.

I am with you on the "don't use the rubber 1/32 spacing" but how did you
finnish up the inspection cover with the fiberglass ? and trim under ? over ?
cut it off , how did you cover the end of the glass / trim and inspection cover ?
