Tip: Nosewheel servicing

I know of no quicker, simpler, and foolproof way to service the nosewheel and lower cowl regions than to simply stack three or four 25# shot bags on the empennage.

Those shot bags have come in handy both while building and now flying.

Shot Bags

Rick, I like the Shot bags. I would probably add one "fail safe" by putting a saw horse under the fuselage at a rivet line (junction of cowling and fuselage) just incase the "Fool proof" was circumvented by some fool. As one of my mentors once said, "Nothing is fool proof because fools are so ingenious!" :)
