42 T-Hangars at KADS to be torn down in December

They will be replaced by half as many $300K 60x60 foot hangar condos where the property taxes alone will be double the rent of the existing hangars. I guess their existing T's weren't big enough for the new Cirrus, Diamond, etc.

I suspect the hanger size was fine--------------it was the size of the rental income that was too small.

I'd be half-way interested in buying one, but not at $300k....

If we can get 3 people together, it may be worthwhile. They're supposed to have water and electricity and an office/living area. Clearly not designed for GA, but then again prohibited from commercial use. Probably pressure from Cirrus and Diamond owners who really have no place to keep their planes at ADS except in a corner of a big jet hangar.
