-7 down in Cow Town

News just showed a beautifull -6 or -7 that had "engine trouble" put her down in a field after launching from Arlington. She was a little nose down, but looked other wise OK, it's been wet around here.

I recognized the paint job from this site... no injuries thank goodness. Looks like a good job of aviating.

Pilot and Pax OK (News)

I found the pic on glo customs paint shop. Have seen it before.

Dwayne Smith
RV-6 Slider.
News said they were OK. Took off out of Arlington.

My wife saw a quick shot of an RV that went down yesterday but she didn't recognize the plane. (I was too busy watching the Stars give up their lead!)

Does anybody know who it was?

I saw the plane on the news last night. Looked OK. From the brief time I had eyes on the screen it look like a nice landing in a soft, wet field. Gear possibly collapsed but aircraft all there in one piece.

Glad OK.
