We've pretty much been hiring software guys nonstop for a while now; we can't grow the team fast enough to keep up with the growth of the company. There are several different areas to work in, depending on your preference - if you want to do Web stuff, great - if you want to deal with enormous data sets and figure out how to clean them up and make them useful - we've got that, too.
The designer position is relatively new. Until recently, we've used outside contractors for design services, but we've grown enough now that it makes sense to have someone full-time on staff.
In all cases, aviation knowledge is a significant plus.
The company itself is doing great. No investors, no VC, none of that - it's privately owned, profitable, and growing rapidly. Also, there's beer on tap in the break room.
