Build Documentation ?

Where should I look for the requirements for build documentaiton for my airworthness certificate ? I am currently evaluation space/time/$$$ requirements to build a QB RV10.

Is there a standard format, as I have seen several web pages documenting the build process.

There are no STANDARD requirements for build records. You simply have to prove to your inspector that your airplane was built for recreation and education, and not for pay. If you are interested in obtaining the repairman certificate to do the annual condition on your airplane then you need to show that YOU did a major portion (>50%) of the work. This is done with a cronological log and pictures. Make sure that you are included in some of the pictures.
