CWS Switches

I'm installing a Digitrak and an Altrak in my RV-3. I'm not connecting the two units to each other because I'll sometimes use them independently. Both the Altrak engage button and the Digitrak control head are within easy reach.

Is there any advantage in installing the CWS momentary contact switches? If installed, they will go on the panel - too much trouble to retrofit into my stick grip.

Not really

You can push the CWS switch, change heading, release and will follow new track without having to reengage the autopilot. Thats about it. Worth it?
