RV8 Canopy Sealing

Anyone have some tips, techniques on sealing rear base portion,of the -8 canopy, between the fuselage and canopy frame? Thanks

3/4 inch foam rubber weather stripping with self-adhesive backing, stuck to the inside of the skirt, seals out almost all of the airleak but pushes the trailing edge of teh skirt up slightly... ugly but functional.
